Airborne Hotspots is a free, volunteer-maintained public safety resource for the general aviation community. We are committed to making this site as accessible as possible and are working toward conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

What we have done

We have made good-faith efforts to ensure that text content is readable by screen readers, that color is not used as the sole means of conveying information, and that pages are navigable by keyboard where feasible.

Known limitations

This site includes interactive map visualizations and flight-track replay tools that have inherent accessibility limitations. Specifically:

• Interactive maps require mouse or touch input; full keyboard navigation is not supported.
• Animated flight-track replays do not currently have equivalent non-animated alternatives.
• Some color-coded map overlays (e.g., loss-of-separation event types) may be difficult to distinguish for users with color vision deficiency. We are working on alternative representations.

These tools are provided for informational and educational purposes only and are not required for operational use.
